Kristin Waddell
Registered Massage Therapist & Doula – ON MAT LEAVE

Kristin graduated from the 3000 hour program at the Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 2005.  Upon completing her registration she worked abroad and returned to Canada rejuvenated and ready to continue her practice in BC. In 2007 she became a doula and re-ignited her passion working with pre and postnatal women. Among the many skills that Kristin studied since beginning her journey as a therapist, her interest lies with craniosacral therapy, myofascial release and pelvis alignment. She facilitates your therapeutic goals by allowing your body to self correct and ultimately enhances your ability to focus on your infant within. She believes the body holds the past and the mind holds the future; working with your body can bring you to the present moment which enables your healing process to begin. Along with massage, Kristin advocates other avenues supporting your therapeutic goals such as acupuncture, yoga or stretching, pilates, nutrition and holistic counseling.

Appointments are available at Pomegranate on Tuesdays. Please contact her at 778.558.0743 or at kristinwaddellrmt@gmail.com

Kristin also teaches Infant Massage Classes. Please check the Pomegranate event calendar to see the next class

Vanessa Senecal, BKin, RMT

Vanessa’s interest in health care and massage therapy began early on in life, after receiving massages at the clinic of the local massage college. This interest in the health sciences led her to study at McMaster University, graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology.

In 2001 Vanessa relocated to British Columbia, returning to school to study massage therapy where she graduated from the 3 year program at the Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 2005. Since then she has practiced massage therapy in Trail, B.C. and Vancouver. She also had the opportunity, in the fall of 2010, to visit Uganda and volunteer for 8 weeks at the Shanti Uganda Maternity & Learning Centre as a massage therapist and doula. This was an incredibly inspiring experience, which helped strengthen her already great passions for her chosen profession.

Vanessa has advanced training in pre-, peri- and postnatal massage therapy, and is also a trained and practicing doula. She has a diverse practice, and has experience working with a variety of conditions including whiplash, headaches, mid and low back pain, tendinitis, fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis, and postural dysfunction.
