the name, the name... so familiar. Paired with poetry, I felt drawn to read more. I finally put 2 and 2 together and realised that I will be going to this reading by hook or by crook (though not by sneaking away from a birth).

Lovely.

I too blog because of you, Cori, and the inspiration and support I received from your classes. I was so profoundly affected by my experiences of pregnancy, childbirth and new motherhood that I suffered from writer's block for about the first two years -- a bit of a problem, to say the least, given that I make my living as a professional writer! Participating in the Momoir Project got the writing flowing again -- I remain forever grateful.

I blog because of you, Cori. Not always about motherhood, but always as a way to find that balance between myself and my biggest role in life now that I am a mom.
This is perfectly written and explains why mothers should write. I am going to send the link to my best friend, who sadly lost her first pregnancy of twin girls at 22 weeks last fall. She journals but only privately. I wonder if doing something more accessible could be cathartic for others going through the same thing...(she is in Calgary or I would send her to see you)!
As a "graduate" of Momoir levels one and two, I have become so much more the person I always wanted to be, just by virtue of the fact that I write. Thanks for that.
