Celina Laursen

Hello!  I am a third year midwifery student recently returning to the UBC Midwifery Program after a one year maternity leave.  I spent the year at home on the remote northwest coast in Tlell, BC, with my new baby and my Island family.  I also have a seven year old son and a wonderful supportive partner who have come to Vancouver with me on this journey.  We have lived on Haida Gwaii for ten years and I will return there to set up my midwifery practice.  In the meantime we are enjoying the arts, music, and the people in the city.
